In May I applied for a condo loan with Zion Bancorp and on the 11th hour was told that they will not move forward due to an HOA issue. On Friday, Juneteenth weekend, while many offices were closed, I sent out a letter to 5 brokers stating my problem and needed a special lender to assist me. I received 1 person who said he would find out on Monday; 1 person said he only does commercial lending: 4 did not return me my call, and Jeremy and Jenifer Daum from Greenlight Financial called me and asked me to send the document that was questionable, and replied shortly after that he can do it. By the end of the weekend we had a great conversation and I sent over all of my documents to start an application. On Monday at the beginning of the workday, Jeremy and Jennifer submitted all the paperwork to the underwriters of a lender who committed to take on the loan. They diligently followed up with us to get more documents and had an answer within a week. We ended up closing in less than 4 weeks later.
